Welcome to Hammer and Stain Lynchburg, a DIY Workshop & Experience Studio
Hammer & Stain Lynchburg facilitates creative workshops and learning experiences for all ages and skill levels with step-by-step instructions. We are a local, small, woman-owned business operating in downtown Lynchburg Virginia on Commerce Street. We offer a variety of projects and experiences. Our location offers the following services:
Workshop Experiences - instructor-led, curated creative experiences open to the public and available for purchase on our online store.
Open Studios -self-led, choose-your-project crafting hours based on our posted schedule and available for purchase in advance.
Private Workshops/Celebrations - private curated experiences for birthdays, team building, fundraising, celebrations or just to get together with your friends and family. Find out more about how to start planning your private experience.
How to Visit our Location
Our location is only open for planned workshop experiences and open studio sessions. We schedule 8-12 workshops per month and 2-3 open studios each week. We will also offer summer camps and other family oriented events. Please note that our open studio hours changes monthly. Please stop by during our open studio hours to visit with us or register for a workshop.
We change our offerings every month to include new workshops, learning themes, and creative experiences. We suggest checking our site regularly or subscribing to our newsletter to hear about our new offerings.
