How long does a workshop last? The length of each workshop depends on the type of project scheduled. Each workshop will include the planned time in the description. Most workshops last about 2 hours.

Do I need to be crafty or artistically talented to take a workshop? Definitely NOT! Our workshops provide guided instruction in a relaxed environment. Just bring your DIY attitude and a willingness to learn and you will create a project you will be proud of!

Do I need to tell you in advance what colors I want to make my project?  If a specific color choice is required it will be collected when you purchase a workshop project. The studio has many colors of materials to choose from.  When you arrive we will show you examples of different color palettes to help you decide which paints and stains will look the best in your home.

Do I have to pick my project ahead of time? Yes. Project selection and customization information for your project is required at the time of booking on our on-line registration form. Please be sure to double-check your spelling and information to ensure your project stencil (for wood workshops) and materials will be ready for you at the start of your workshop.

What are the prices for a workshop? Prices for each workshop are based on the type of workshop being offered. Typically, prices range from $35 to $80 depending on the options you choose.

Are friends or family allowed to attend with me if they did not purchase a workshop experience? Unfortunately, due to our fire code occupancy permit, we have a limited amount of seating and do not allow people to attend to observe. They will need to purchase a workshop experience.

Do you have parking? We do not have a dedicated parking lot. The parking garage across the street is available for free parking after 5pm during weekdays and all day during weekends. Street parking is also available in front of our building. If visiting us during the day we recommend using the free parking garage located on Main Street & 5th (across from the Academy of Arts). 

Do you offer refunds? Due to the custom nature of our workshops, registration fees are generally non-refundable. We will issue a credit for future workshops upon request.

May I bring my own snacks or food? Yes! Please feel free to bring your own snacks or food to any of our workshops. Note that some workshops include drinks and snacks as well.

How do I make sure I am seated with my friends? If you are coming with a group of friends, please contact us to arrange a seating plan.
