Family Crafts for the 4th of July week! Join us on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 from 4-6pm. Bring the family and create something unique together to celebrate our 250th anniversary! Make something fun together to celebrate the U.S.A.

There will be a variety of projects available to work on together as a family to include:

Paint 3D Wood Stars (4 in each set)
Paint Wood Coasters (4 in each set + metal holder)
Build A Patriotic Wood Flower Bouquet
Make a Sea Glass Flag

Complimentary italian ice popsicles will be provided for each participant. This experience is planned for 30-90 minutes.

Each family group needs to be registered for one project to participate.

Aprons and other safety gear will be provided for use depending on what project is selected. Please let us know how many are in your group for our planning purposes.

Cancellation Policy

Once your order has been submitted we immediately begin the process of production. If you would like to cancel your reservation, you must give a minimum of 48 hour notice.

Same day cancellations or no-shows will not be eligible for a refund. Cancellations will be processed on the day we receive your cancellation request. It may take up to 2 weeks for the refund to return to the account you used to purchase your items.

Hammer & Stain Lynchburg reserves the right to make any amendments to this policy at any time. Notification of any changes will be published on this page. If you have any inquiries regarding cancellations or any of our other policies please contact us.

Guest Policy

Unregistered guests are not permitted to attend any workshop to include both public and private experiences. Guests without registration will be asked to leave in order for us to comply to fire code and to create a good experience for all participants. Observation seat registrations may be requested for guests that do not want to participate but would like to attend the workshop. Observation seat registration must be pre-approved and paid in advance.

Wood

Please note that our wood products may have random cracks, chips, knots and other natural blemishes that give it character! Some peeling may occur. We will do our very best to minimize disturbances to the words and make everything look intentional, but due to the nature of the workshop we can make no guarantees. Please keep in mind, no product is absolutely perfect, as it is hand crafted, it will be beautifully crafted by you!
