Join us for a creative and hands-on week of art at Hammer & Stain Lynchburg located downtown on Commerce Street from July 6-10, 2026 from 8:30am-noon daily. 

Our Teen Art Camp is designed to explore a wide variety of art forms while expressing the individual creativity and personal style of each participant. This camp is designed for middle schoolers aged 10-14 years old.

Throughout the week, campers will work with multiple artistic mediums, including wood projects, canvas painting, sea glass, bedazzling, collaging and more. Each project is thoughtfully guided by our staff while still allowing plenty of room for creativity, experimentation, and fun.

We strongly encourage teens to personalize their projects based on their interests, hobbies, and personality, creating one-of-a-kind pieces they’ll be proud to take home. No two projects — or campers — will be the same!

At the end of the week we will host an art show for the families to view everyone's work from the week of camp.

Cancellation Policy

Once your order has been submitted we immediately begin the process of production. If you would like to cancel your reservation, you must give a minimum of 48 hour notice.

Same day cancellations or no-shows will not be eligible for a refund. Cancellations will be processed on the day we receive your cancellation request. It may take up to 2 weeks for the refund to return to the account you used to purchase your items.

Hammer & Stain Lynchburg reserves the right to make any amendments to this policy at any time. Notification of any changes will be published on this page. If you have any inquiries regarding cancellations or any of our other policies please contact us.

Guest Policy

Unregistered guests are not permitted to attend any workshop to include both public and private experiences. Guests without registration will be asked to leave in order for us to comply to fire code and to create a good experience for all participants. Observation seat registrations may be requested for guests that do not want to participate but would like to attend the workshop. Observation seat registration must be pre-approved and paid in advance.

Wood

Please note that our wood products may have random cracks, chips, knots and other natural blemishes that give it character! Some peeling may occur. We will do our very best to minimize disturbances to the words and make everything look intentional, but due to the nature of the workshop we can make no guarantees. Please keep in mind, no product is absolutely perfect, as it is hand crafted, it will be beautifully crafted by you!
